Fantasy Photographics is owned and operated by professional photographers Rod and Rosa Cole.
We are a husband and wife team whose photographic style is primarily photojournalistic (sometimes called Freestyle). It is our intent to capture the events of your wedding in a non-obtrusive manner without setting up our shots as so many photographers do. This way, we capture what actually happened at your wedding and not our perspective of your wedding. Rosa's images provide a European view of your wedding event which we believe makes our coverage unique. If you prefer the more traditional posed shots, we are trained in classic wedding photography and will gladly provide this coverage. Although we are based in central Texas, we are seasoned travelers with current passports and will gladly travel to any destination in the world to photograph your wedding.
Professional Organizations
Photographic Artist Rod Cole is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the Texas Professional Photographers Association, the Southwest Professional Photographers Association, and is currently serving his third term as secretary of the Professional Photographer's Guild of Austin.
Photographic Artist Rosa Cole is a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association and the Southwest Professional Photographers Association. Rosa is also an artist who paints on canvas using both oil and acrylic media. She can hand paint over your photograph to enhance the appearance.
Continuing Education
Fantasy Photographics is constantly working to improve our techniques by attending classes and workshops with World Class professional photographers such as Joe Buissink, Mark Hamilton, Craig Minelli, Clay Blackmore, Monte Zucker, Jack Reznicki, Eddie Tapp, John Woodward, and Doug Gordon. Just this year, we have attended the SWPPA Convention, the WPPI Convention in Las Vegas and the Texas School of Professional Photography so we can offer our clients the best and latest in photography. In May, we will be attending a class with Australian master wedding photographer Yervant and celebrity wedding photographer Joe Buissink to learn how to apply video techniques to our photography.
